Not all tallow is
created
equal.

Raised differently. Processed differently.

The source matters as much as the ingredient. Bison are naturally raised, free-range animals. Unlike conventional cattle, it is illegal to administer growth hormones or routine antibiotics to bison. What you get is a cleaner, more natural fat — one that hasn't been altered or pushed for mass production.

Even within "grass-fed" beef, there's often a gap between perception and reality. Many cattle are grass-fed early on, but grain-finished before processing. Bison remain consistent to their natural diet from start to finish.

For centuries, bison have been regarded as a vital and respected resource — often referred to as a gift from nature. Every part was used with intention.

That same philosophy carries into how their tallow nourishes the skin.

PURITY, PROCESSING & VISIBLE QUALITY

You can see the difference.

Bison tallow requires minimal rendering — typically just twice — to reach a clean, usable state for skin care. This gentle process preserves its natural vitamins and beneficial compounds. Beef tallow, by comparison, often requires repeated rendering to remove impurities and odor — which can degrade its original nutrient profile with each pass.

HOW TO USE OUR BISON TALLOW

More than a moisturizer.

  • Apply a small amount morning or evening. A little goes a long way — one jar typically lasts two months with daily use. Works on face and body. Great for all skin types.

  • Helpful for eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis due to its calming, restorative properties. Its anti-inflammatory CLA content makes it particularly suited for compromised skin.

  • Apply a small amount to the ends of hair — wet or dry — to smooth, condition, and reduce dryness. Can also be worked into the scalp for deep moisture.

  • Elbows, heels, hands, lips — anywhere skin takes a beating. Apply more generously to these areas. The frankincense body balm is especially suited for intense work.

Bison tallow isn't just an ingredient — it's a return to something your skin already understands.
